Can the Answer™ safes be placed on a wooden floor without reinforcement?
Yes, the safe can be placed on wood floors anywhere in your home.
Is there a reason for a double door safe?
Yes! The double doors are very compact and allow you to place the safe in a closet or other discrete location. Answer™ Gun Safes are also shallower than traditional old-fashioned safes. We design all our products to provide straight-line access to all rifles. This means all guns are stored in one row. You never have to dig through your guns to get to the one you want. You can open the safe, remove a rifle with one hand then close it without ever having to set the gun down.
How does this redesigned keypad differ from the previous Answer™ keypad?
We’ve designed this new lock set with security, convenience, and fast access in mind. The new keypad features 6 large buttons with tactile references, a capacitive biometric fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C power port. The previous keypad could only register two access code of 6 digits, however the new keypad can register up to three access codes between 3 to 12 digits and up to 30 fingerprints. The new backlit keypad features sound cues, however you can disable sound or the backlight if desired. Previous versions of Answer™ cabinets did not have back up key access, however the new version includes a key override with two back up keys.
Can the doors be removed?
This is a fully-welded gun safe and the doors should not be removed. Removal of the doors will void the warranty for this product.

Product arrived and performs flawlessly. I’ve never seen a safe packaged so well, there wasn’t a mark on it.
The innovation incorporated into this safe has made this the ideal safe for my home. The modularity that you, yourself, can customize inside the safe is something that other companies cannot match with their safes. Really love it!
My Answer 12 and accessories seem very nice, and SecureIt customer support is excellent. The lead time for the safe (over one month) seemed a little long, and the company chosen for white glove service was terrible, however. And, apparently SecuRam changed their procedure for programming codes but didn’t tell anyone, so both SecureIt’s and SecuRam’s printed and online collateral were out-of-date.
The safe came slightly damaged. One of the legs of the safe was bent pretty badly and I had to try to flatten it back out before standing it back up. It’s still moderately bent but seems to work. The rest of the safe is fantastic.
I have purchased an ANSWER Safe; Agile Safes, two large Ammo cabinets, numerous accessories, etc. What I purchased was just fine, no issues. However, Accessory prices are holding me back from purchases I would like to make, such as the pistol racks, lights, etc. The spacing on pistol racks is too tight as I have now learned. All handguns, but the smallest, are difficult to extract and get damaged, causing me to use only every other peg. Raises the cost per gun. While these are annoying, I am a huge fan of your products. I also enjoyed an article about your products in one of my gun magazines.
