Can I use Horizontal Display Mounts inside a SecureIt gun cabinet?
Horizontal Display Mount brackets are compatible with Agile, Answer, and Mil-Spec cabinets, however not all long guns will fit in the cabinets horizontally. You’ll want to compare the length of your long guns to the width of the cabinet before purchasing Horizontal Display Mounts for this purpose.

I recently purchased some Horizontal Display Mounts to add to my gun wall I bought over a year ago. When choosing the right wall design for my armory, I decided to go with Secureit because it seemed like they had the toughest system. And up until recently, I have been happy with it. But the newly designed rifle Horizontal Display Mounts are horrible. They are plastic and cheap. Also, the design of how they hook to the wall panels is very disappointing. They are designed to hook in between the rows so they stick out unlike anything else they sell. I’m all for adding new products and designs to the system, but they should’ve kept the original design to allow their customers to choose. I realize heavy-duty steel ones cost more to manufacture, and I would be happy to pay more for the old design ones I have that came with my package. Honestly, I do not even want to use them, which sucks, because I need more storage for my new rifles I added to my collection.
They need to add the original design back and quit cutting corners on future products. If I wanted cheap, I would’ve gone with a competitor for my purchase. It’s sad because I have spent thousands (actually placing another large order now) of dollars with this company, and it would be very expensive to switch to a different system now.
I know they sell a 3 pack of Horizontal Display Mounts and each set is offset to stick off the wall like a step. But I do not want the rifles that far away and it wouldn’t match the originals ones I have. I plan on encapsulating my wall behind Bulletproof Glass and I don’t have a lot of room to play with.
Please bring them back and let me know when they’re for sale. I will purchase them and change my rating to 5 stars. I have faith in this company. I don’t think they meant any harm. It was just an oversight which no-one thought of the big picture. All they thought was they could save the customers money.
