Lightweight and Modular

Lightweight and Modular

The Difference Is Structural.

This isn't about aesthetics. It's about engineering. Traditional safes contain firearms. SecureIt organizes, protects, and supports them properly. Once you see them side by side, the choice becomes obvious.

Most gun safes were designed to impress on a showroom floor. SecureIt was designed to perform.

When you see them side by side, the difference speaks for itself.

Weight & Lifetime Value

Value is what you live with.

Value is what you live with.

Price is what you pay.

The average American moves 11 times. Moving companies will not move a traditional gun safe. Hiring a safe mover will cost $800–$2,500 depending on the distance. As a result, the two most commonly abandoned items during a move are hot tubs and gun safes. SecureIt modular safes are different — move them with standard movers, or do it yourself.

Built Around the Firearm — Not the Box

Structure Determines Performance.

Structure Determines Performance.

The Interior Is The System.

Traditional gun safes were engineered to maximize steel weight and fire ratings. SecureIt was engineered to support modern firearms properly. With vertical storage, independent access, and a fully modular interior, each rifle is separated, protected, and ready. When storage is designed around the firearm instead of the box, everything improves — organization, access, and long-term durability.

Born in U.S. Military Armories

Born in U.S. Military Armories

Engineered after an 18-month assessment of America's most elite fighting units.

CradleGrid™ was developed after SecureIt completed an 18-month evaluation of U.S. Army Special Forces armories nationwide. The findings were clear: outdated rack systems and rigid storage designs were limiting efficiency and performance. The resulting structural redesign transformed how firearms and gear are stored across U.S. military installations, U.S. embassies worldwide, federal protective services — including the White House security force — and beyond. What began as a military modernization effort now defines modern firearm storage for serious civilian owners.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. SecureIt safes are priced in line with most quality gun safes. The difference isn't the upfront cost — it's what you get for it. Traditional heavy safes rely on bulk steel, fixed shelving, and weight. SecureIt systems are engineered around the firearm itself, with modular interiors, true vertical support, and lightweight construction that eliminates specialty moving costs over time. When you factor in performance, adaptability, and lifetime usability, SecureIt delivers far more value.

Not in the way they're marketed. Most consumer gun safe fire ratings are based on controlled furnace tests that do not replicate real residential fire conditions. Real house fires involve flashover, structural collapse, rapid temperature rise, and unpredictable heat transfer. An oven test in a factory is not the same as a structure fire. We've demonstrated that in a true fire environment, a “90-minute rated” safe can reach critical internal temperatures in minutes. Around 380°F, hardened steel components begin to lose strength. At higher sustained temperatures, barrels can lose structural integrity. If firearms are exposed to that level of heat, they should be carefully inspected and often should not be fired again — regardless of the advertised rating. There's another issue rarely discussed. Traditional fire-rated safes rely on drywall-based liners and adhesives. Drywall can contain pyrite, which can off-gas corrosive sulfur compounds. Many adhesives contain formaldehyde, which is also corrosive. These materials are not used in military armories for that reason. We design around physics and long-term firearm protection — not marketing ratings. SecureIt focuses on structural support, corrosion-resistant materials, and real-world performance. We cover the full testing process in our “How It Works” section, including a detailed video showing exactly how consumer fire ratings are created — and why they don't tell the whole story.

Yes. SecureIt continues to design and build armory systems for U.S. military installations, federal agencies, and government facilities worldwide. CradleGrid™ was developed during an 18-month assessment of U.S. Army Special Forces armories and has since transformed how firearms and gear are stored across military bases, U.S. embassies, federal protective services — including the White House security force — and allied forces abroad. SecureIt is the global leader in military weapon storage. The same structural system used in professional armories is the foundation of every SecureIt product built for civilian firearm owners. We don't make a different “consumer version” of CradleGrid. It is the same. We bring armory-level structure into the home.

Absolutely. Not everyone needs a full-size safe, and SecureIt designs systems for every stage of ownership. Our Fast Box™ line provides secure, rapid-access storage for home defense firearms in a compact footprint — ideal for apartments, condos, or discreet placement in the home. For those who want modular storage in a smaller format, the new Model 42 delivers the same CradleGrid™ structure and independent vertical support as our larger systems, just in a more compact size. Whether you own one firearm or a growing collection, the goal is the same: proper support, proper separation, and storage built around the firearm — not just a steel box.
