How does this redesigned keypad differ from the previous Agile™ keypad?
We’ve designed this new lock set with security, convenience, and fast access in mind. The new keypad features 6 large buttons with tactile references, a capacitive biometric fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C power port. The previous keypad could only register one access code of 6 digits, however the new keypad can register up to three access codes between 3 to 12 digits and up to 30 individual fingerprints. The new backlit keypad features sound cues, however you can disable sound or the backlight if desired.
Is it difficult to retrofit my older Agile™ 40 or 52 with this new Biometric Lock Set?
It’s not difficult to install! The retrofit should take less than 30 minutes, and only requires #1 and #2 Philips-head screwdrivers. We send written retrofit and lock programming instructions along with the new lock set and you can find a digital copy of the instructions under the “Manuals” tab on this page.
Can I install this lock set on a Gen 1 Agile™ Model 52?
No. This new lock set is not compatible with the Gen 1 Agile™ Model 52, which was sold before 2018. Gen 1 Agile™ Model 52s had a round keypad and did not utilize a key override. If you need help identifying which model you own, please contact out Tech Support team with a photo of your cabinet’s door.
