The Gun Safe Upgrade Kit 1 is designed to transform your traditional gun safe into a highly organized, modular storage solution using SecureIt’s patented CradleGrid™ Technology. This kit includes 12 grid panels, 6 cradles, 3 stock base units, and all necessary hardware, providing secure storage for up to 6 long guns. With additional accessories (sold separately), you can customize the setup to store handguns, magazines, ammo, and other gear, tailoring the safe to your specific needs.

The upgrade kits are simple and effective, offering a straightforward installation process. Detailed instructions guide you through removing the old safe interior, measuring and cutting a plywood backing, and installing the kit. For added convenience, a detailed video tutorial, “How to Upgrade Your Gun Safe,” is available to walk you through the process.

Plywood and Tools
The kit is designed to use 1/2″ plywood as a backing (not included). You can measure and cut the plywood yourself, or have it cut to size at most hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s, often at no additional cost. While 1/2″ plywood is recommended, thicknesses from 1/2″ to 3/4″ are compatible. For a polished look, we suggest painting the plywood with primer gray or flat black (paint not included).
