What does Snap Grip™ come with?
The Snap Grip™ is sold in two variations. You can purchase the Snap Grip™ (pre-assembled wire form with nylon rollers ), which can be retrofitted onto your own Upper Cradles – OR – you can purchase the Snap Grip™ & Upper Cradle already assembled together.
What types of firearms work with Snap Grip™?
The Snap Grip™ wire form will fit all firearms with a barrel diameter that is up to 7/8″ in size, or a standard 12 gauge shotgun. Side-by-side double-barrel shotguns are incompatible with Snap Grip™.
Do I need an Upper Cradle to use Snap Grip™?
Yes, Snap Grip™ must be used with an Upper Cradle.
Are all Upper Cradles the same™?
Yes, all Upper Cradles are the same and are compatible with the Snap Grip™.
Overall awesome produce, however you need to be super careful trying to install the snap grip on the cradle. I broke the little clip on more than one cradle trying to install the snap grip part and that was most disappointing. I wish the cradle was not made with super easy to damage plastic tabs on the side. They probably should be metal or something stronger. Overall the, the snap grip, once installed in the cradle, is super nice and useful and I do recommend them overall.
Only complaint here is it should be adjustable for larger diameter barrels to lock in securely.
Make sure you follow the instructions, you *will* break the plastic bits if you don’t.
