Why We Made It

Like the Steel 6, the steel 12 is one of our first retail products. We had just completed the Seal Team armory project in Little Creek and many of the team guys wanted our CradleGrid system in there homes. Our Model 84 weapon racks were just too big for most home applications. We started development of the Agile Modular Gun Safe which was going to take some time. As a stop gap we quickly created the Steel 6 and Steel 12 kits. A handful of team guy installed them into their traditional gun safes and were blown away at the improvement. We added the Steel 6 and 12 to the FastBox to create our first retail product offering. A lot has changed over the years but the steel 6 and 12 kits still remain popular products.
