After building armories for SEAL Team units in Little Creek, team members requested SecureIt storage for their homes, inspiring us to adapt our Model 84 military weapon rack into a smaller, modular gun safe. Incorporating all the features of our CradleGrid technology, we created a lightweight, modular platform, and they loved it. - Advanced Keypad Design: The six-button keypad includes a capacitive fingerprint scanner for fast access via the code (up to 3 codes, 3-12 digits each) or your fingerprint (holds up to 30 unique fingerprints). Also includes 2 Override Keys.
- Function Options: The keypad can be programmed to turn off the backlight, sound, and even the biometric function should you choose.
- Low Battery Warning: A light on the keypad will flash when the battery is low.

The small screws in the corners are a little tricky. I found using a clamp to hold the panels together. I really like the unit and have the draw mounted under the cabinet with the storage box on the top and it makes a very nice unit. Yes it’s lighter than an old school safe but it still heavy so know one is walking out of your house with it.
